Will My Thoughts Affect My Health?

Cre8 Reminders primary function is to lower the levels of stress.

The medical field is now stating that 80% of disease is stress-related. We are also told that prolonged stress on the body can manifest adverse effects such as high blood pressure, heart disease, muscle pain, changes in blood sugar, headaches, colitis, anxiety disorders, and ulcers.

“Stress is a natural physical and mental reaction to life experiences. Everyone expresses stress from time to time. Anything from everyday responsibilities like work and family to serious life events such as a new diagnosis, war, or the death of a loved one can trigger stress…”, according to an article written by Ann Pietrangelo and Stephanie Watson on Healthline.com

When is Stress Beneficial?

Stress can be beneficial when it is for immediate, short-term situations. Stress can help you cope with potentially serious situations, because of the ability to act quickly. When faced with stress your body releases hormones that increase your heart, breathing rate, and prepares your muscles to act.

Yet if your stress response doesn’t stop firing, and these stress levels stay elevated far longer than is necessary for survival, which is what takes a toll on your health.

What actually is happening?

In that same article we are told that “your hypothalamus, a tiny control tower in your brain, decides to send out the order: ‘Send in the stress hormones!”‘ These stress hormones are the same ones that trigger your body’s “fight or flight” response. Your heart races, your breath quickens, and your muscles prepare for action. This response was designed to protect your body in an emergency by preparing you to react quickly. But when the stress response keeps firing, day after day, it could put your health at serious risk because of the over abundance of these two hormones.

Our Body’s Amazing Ability to Keep in Balance.

Science has proven that the human body emits specific vibratory information. These vibrations have a self regulatory mechanism that specify the activities taking place within the body. I find it fascinating the ability our body has to continually strive for balance. When a cell or molecule gets out of sync, then a signal from a neighboring cell will attempt to guide it back to the correct signal. If a sufficient number of cells become out of sync, then the balance and stability can be lost which leads to disease and disorder.

Command Center

Your mind is the command center. Each thought affects this vibratory information. Each thought plays a role as to whether these vibrations are maintained in balance or fall out of sync.  Remember that falling out of sync is the precursor to disease and disorder.

Cre8 Reminders© is a process that will help you re-establish this intricate balance by addressing the subconscious thoughts in your mind. We all respond to music because of the tonal quality that we hear. Just like music, words carry a tonal quality that can set off a chain reaction of emotions.  Emotions are chemicals that the mind produces to match the concept of what the thought/word represents to an individual. These chemicals can disrupt the natural rhythm of the cell when the emotion has a negative quality to it.

Health is Staying in Sync

Striving to be more in sync with health promoting thoughts and feelings offers support to the body and it’s ability to engage its own healing properties.

THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN LIFE KEEPS THROWING ME CHALLENGES AND I BEGIN TO WEAR DOWN…..I BEGIN TO SHOW SIGNS OF BEING OVERLY STRESSED.

In our daily lives we find ourselves too busy to pay attention to our own health…..until something serious happens like exhaustion, an anxiety attack, a broken relationship, or another physical health issue.

With a little awareness you can gauge how well you are managing Stress. An easy way to gauge stress is to assess it by these 3 different levels.

  • Level 1 stress (handling well)
  • Level 2 (These are the mental, emotional and physical experiences one might have.)
  • Level 3 (Body experiencing a chronic disease)

Another simple practice is to take note of stress indicators. Stress indicators can be found on the chart below. By tracking what you are feeling, you will be able to determine when you are hitting an unhealthy level of stress (Level 2 & Level 3), and take corrective steps to get your body back in balance….back in sync.

This is a list of common responses to stress. (This is not all inclusive nor is it intended to diagnose)

Taking a couple of weeks periodically and tracking how you feel mentally, physically & emotionally throughout the day can give you a general reading on your own personal wellness. This information can be helpful in planning your monthly self care routine. As you begin to see a repeat from any of the three separate columns, you will be able to recognize stress-habits, or another name is…Stress Signature
