I asked the question “Are you comfortable in your own skin?” A confused and puzzled look accompanied this reply, “Of course, I like my skin”. “No, I mean do you like who you are? Do you feel confident to act silly and enjoy life?” “Well, not really” was the reply.
Feeling confident to step out of your “comfort” zone and into living life courageous, unintimidated, or worried of what others will say or think, is quite a job for young people…. who am I kidding, even for us older kids too. But just imagine living each day with a ZEST that ushers in adventure and the ability to cope with the unexpected, demonstrating a sense of nobility, assurance and grace. A presence where your physical actions, tone of voice, and a mental attitude speak a resounding message of, “I know who I am, I love it, and I am here to help you remember too.” What a great place to be!!!
