I have often thought of Hope as something that I must receive….like asking for a gift to be given. But today as I was pondering on a story, of a father whose son died in the early days while crossing the planes on foot, I realized that Hope is something more than an idea that we hold in our head. Hope is what radiates from within us, it is what we act on, something of substance that becomes a visual element in our life.
Hope, like Faith is a belief in something that has not come to pass, yet a belief so strong, that one lives each breathing moment as if it has.
I see Hope as not just a “wish” or a dream of something, but a motivating factor for ones daily actions in life. Hope is the substance of what we show to others, our very core, the literal energy of influence.
