Well my daughter Christina and I have decided to take on a 30 day body challenge! We are so excited and wanted to include everyone in our journey.
We will be posting weekly on our improvements, food and beauty product recipes, and of course exercises that we love!
So this week we are starting with a few baby steps-
1.) We are focusing on our water intake (which should be half of your body weight in ounces), and a lot of people don’t understand the importance water has for the functioning of your body. So here are a few reasons- It flushes toxins out of your vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose, and throat tissues.
2.) Mixing 1 Tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water each day, one before lunch and then the other before dinner. Dr. Carol Johnston of Arizona State University studied the affects of apple cider vinegar on blood sugar regulations. She concluded that the acetic acid found in ACV prevents the digestion of starch, which prevents those carbohydrates from affecting blood glucose levels.
3.) And lastly, we wont be doing any type of crazy diets or fasts. Instead we are going to cut down our portion sizes, and find yummy healthier recipes to incorporate on our weekly menu’s. And don’t worry, after we test the new recipes we’ll make sure to share with you!
