I Can FEEL my action steps working! My decision to make them came from a simple bike ride. Our family decided to go on a bike ride in our neighborhood. Where we live there are some pretty steep hills, not just flat ground. During our ride (which I haven’t ridden in a good year) I thought I was going to have a Heart – (You- Know- What -don’t what to say the words, because what we put out there or focus on does come back). Anyway, needless to say the ride was pretty intense. I have been going to the gym and doing weights – I was pretty surprised. I knew I was ready for one more “real positive change” and I decided to start it right then. I am happy to say…I have ridden everyday since (1 week so far) and I can actually feel a difference!
I am 52 – balance and flexibility are keep factors to our well-being as we get older. Just 6 months ago I made the decision that I was not going to buy into the mind set which states – “as we age our body goes to pot”. I think it just needs the attention that we completely ignored in our “ever moving fast” younger years.
So here’s where I state the commitment I made 2 weeks ago. I have known how important taking supplements can be for the bodies health….I always seemed to get “too busy” to remember regularly. I made the commitment to myself that I would add wonderful supplements in the form of better food, vitamins, extra B’s, flax seed, calcium and magnesium…I think that is a good start.
Yes, I have had to feel the affects of aging to get my determination going….but once I make a decision that is balanced with my heart and brain..I stick to the commitment. I become “single-minded” rather than “double-minded”, focused, energized and committed to a “Real Positive Change”! Blessings to Your DAY.
